There is a moment in your life when you realize that your own existence in the world is infinitesimal in relation to the rest of the universe – and it blows your mind. It is this realization and unfathomable plight that my work attempts to address and grapple with. The photographs in this series focus on fragments of my own life in which the familiar is manipulated and rediscovered, a simple beauty exposed.
